Tri-State is a holding and management company located in the beautiful Northern Michigan town of Boyne City. Nestled along the eastern shore of Lake Charlevoix, the corporate office houses the finance, accounting, sales, risk management and human resources functions. These services are provided exclusively to the company’s wholly owned subsidiaries of Broward Casting Company in Hollywood, Florida, Florida Machine & Casting in West Palm Beach, Florida, Jef-Scot Metal Industries in Centerville, Iowa, and Morrow Foundry in Kansas.
Through our subsidiaries, we serve customers in Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin.
Our casting processes include sand casting, permanent mold casting, die casting, investment casting, and forging. We supply a wide range of materials such as aluminum, brass, bronze, iron and steel. Our value-added services include heat treating, machining, gear hobbing, anodizing, non-destructive testing (NDT), and warehousing/supply chain management. Industries served include gas and oil production and transportation, pneumatic valves, agricultural machinery, and food processing equipment, filters, defense, aviation and other critical applications.
The company has three unique product lines, cast aluminum marine dock cleats, cast aluminum boat hardware used mostly on pontoon boats, and cast brass hammers and tools used in applications involving compressed gasses.
